If you see Eric Bunnell this week, wish the lad a happy 12th birthday (March 25 is the official day). In celebration of his birthday, Eric was given Staff Pick of the Week honors and he chose a good one, The Clash‘s Give ‘Em Enough Rope.
A guitar student with the Boise Rock School, Eric already can jam on The Clash (just ask the members of the Swell Season). And while Give ‘Em Enough Rope doesn’t boast a “London Calling” or “Rock the Casbah,” its 10 cuts include Clash classics like “Tommy Gun” and “English Civil War,” plus a closing track — “All the Young Punks” — that’s pretty much perfect for a 12-year-old.
